It is likely that the following three photos were taken at Friedensruh in Doncaster, birthplace of Anna Thiele. The Doncaster area at that time was a major fruit growing area. (The first photo is similar to the one shown on page 231 of the Thiele Family book).
An orchard of fruit trees.
A pear tree, laden with fruit from top to bottom.
This photo is of the four daughters of Gottlieb and Phillipine Thiele, and was also most likely taken at Friedensruh. Standing: Anna and Agnes. Seated: Adelheide and Mary. (It appears on page 55 of the Thiele Family book).
The next photo was taken in Main Road Doncaster, about a decade after the one shown on page 36 of the Thiele Family book. In the background is the ‘Beaconsfield Tower’, an iconic landmark in this district for more than three decades.
Oswald and Chrissie Thiele’s home in Chatham Road, Canterbury (page 67 of the Thiele Family book).
The home of Fred and Ada Thiele in Church Road, Doncaster (page 117 of the Thiele Family book).
Location and owners of the tenement homes in the next three photos unknown.
The next two photos are of the Tabor Lutheran Church in the Western District (not far from Tarrington). This church opened in 1912. It is possible that these photos were taken on that same day.
